LaserGas II MP Cabinet includes a heated multipass (Herriott) cell as an additional feature. This is used for applications where the gas sample must be heated to avoid condensation in the measurement cell.

Because the MP has no other requirements than power and sample gas tubes during installation, it is a turn-key instrument. To avoid failure in optical parts in the Multipass cell, cleanliness of the sample gas must be ensured. Filtering the sample gas in an appropriate extractive system may be required for some applications.
